Yes, that's what the plate remover is for. It's a 1-meter nylon cord you slide under the plate or disc to lift it off cleanly for repositioning or replacement.
The plates and discs use a nano suction double-sided adhesive layer designed to bond directly and securely to the back of your device. It's the same adhesive system used across the EDGE Pro ecosystem, so it's built for lasting attachment rather than a temporary sticker.
Yes, but you need to attach at least one adhesive metal plate to the back of the device's screen to integrate it with a laptop or wall mount.
The metal plate is stainless steel, the ring is magnetic stainless steel, and the disc combines magnetic stainless steel with POM plastic. The adhesive layers are nano suction double-sided pads, and the remover cord is nylon.
The plate measures 72.2 x 55.2 x 0.65 mm (2.84 x 2.17 x 0.26 in), the ring is Ø58.6 mm, and the disc is Ø54 mm. They're designed to sit flush on the back of phones and tablets without adding noticeable bulk.

You may be surprised how really cool this is…

Frankly, I was skeptical. I was unsure this would really be all that useful, but I was feeling experimental and decided to give it a try. I LOVE the Edge Pro. The magnet is strong enough to solidly hold my iPhone next to my iPad Pro screen when I have my iPad attached to my keyboard, sitting on my lap. It is all linked magnetically, so when it’s time to go, the iPhone slips easily in my pocket, the iPad Pro just folds up on the keyboard, and I can elect to leave the Edge Pro attached, or put it in a pocket. Additionally, if I just want a stand for the iPhone, I can use the Edge Pro for that. Clean, easy, slick… and quite cool.
